About Us
The Ottawa site started in 2008 , offering two retreats per year, spring and fall, in proximity to the region of Ottawa, Ontario. Our team of 8 includes a pastor, and licensed counsellor.
All are loving , non-judgmental volunteers who feel honoured to help facilitate this
confidential healing process.
Our site is interdenominational, accepting of women & men of
all faiths or no faith. Space is limited as the groups are small. Financial assistance is
available if needed.
The founder of Rachel's Vineyard Ministries, Dr. Theresa Burke, a counseling psychologist in Pennsylvania, developed this profound retreat process in the early 90's. Currently, Rachel's Vineyard Ministries has grown to over 1000 retreats annually, held at independent sites in 70 countries.
Throughout the weekend, participants are gently led in critical steps of healing through:
